If I couldn't remember how I get to Poe’s Tavern, this one is even more tricky. So I will blame Urbanspoon again, Sesame Burgers & Beers, gourmet burgers, hormone free, ground in-house, all from scratch, fresh ingredients, house made condiments, and more than 60 beer choices in 2 locations in Charleston from the owners of Five Loaves Cafe.

Got to the place with a colleague for diner, both pretty hungry, a couple tables having diner as well, got the menu, beers, and ready to shoot. First sharing starters, some beer battered onion rings with BBQ ranch dipping, fried dill pickles with spicy house ranch, crispy fried calamari with lemon and crushed red pepper aioli, and jumbo wings breaded and tossed with traditional buffalo sauce and with blue cheese dip.

All the starters were good, my favourite probably the wings, no surprise! And the dill pickles, the onion rings were nice, and also the calamari. I like that the food wasn't too oily, but it was perfectly fried, just the enough time to let it rest and drain the grease and oil. Also all the house dips were great, I love they take the time to give you all those options for sauces.
The burgers options are beef, chicken, turkey, or black beans. Cooked to order with their special seasoning, on a sesame bun, really! I wouldn't see that coming! Lettuce and butter pickles. I got the gourmet, goat cheese and Portobello. Flavour was nice, cooked perfectly, a pretty decent burger.

Nice comfort food and good beer selection, the kind of place to go have a bite, couple drinks, don’t think too much and relax.

All these sauces and dips remind me the Seinfeld episode “The Implant”
Timmy: What are you doing?
George: What?
Timmy: Did...Did you just double-dip that chip?
George: Excuse me?
Timmy: You double-dipped the chip!
George: Double-dipped? What are you talking about?
Timmy: You dipped the chip. You took a bite. And you dipped again
George: So?
Timmy: That's like putting your whole mouth right in the dip! From now on, when you take a chip - just take one dip and end it!
George: Well, I'm sorry, Timmy, but I don't dip that way
Timmy: Oh, you don't, huh?
George: No. You dip the way you want to dip, I'll dip the way I want to dip
Timmy: Give me the chip! Give me the chip!
